Lean
Asynchronous and Remote
Our team is fully remote. We launched this company due to a shared ideology around how we wanted our work environments and culture to look. Having an uninterrupted portion of the day to think and work is core to how we function. This forces us to be respectful of how our teammates structure their workday.
Effective Communication
We collaborate with designers, product managers, domain experts, analysts and business development executives who prefer documents over code. We expect teams to be in the loop and contextual information to always remain accessible to our teams.
Testing
We care about reliable and deterministic systems. And a good quality test suite allows us to ensure the systems we build are of the highest quality. It’s integral to the accountability that comes with working with the Core27 team.
THE CORE TEAM
Siddharth Ravichandran
Founder
Sid is our main guy. He is a problem solving wizard that actually understands what a business needs. He’s also known for churning out code in record time.
In his free time, he writes meticulous documentation for said code, besides finding new ways to solve the same problem.
He has strong opinions about simplicity and his favourite question in a meeting is “Do we really need this?”
Vishnu Venugopal
Head of Product
Vishnu’s diverse background as an engineer turned fitness coach turned entrepreneur lends him a strong understanding of user needs across industries. His recent ventures involved building complex tech products in fitness, health and the ed-tech space.
He previously co-founded a fitness-tech startup and raised over 3 million USD of venture capital from North America, Singapore and India. He has also been running his own gym in Mumbai for the past 8 years.
Sahrish Rizvi
Head of Operations & Business Development
Sahrish loves numbers and manages all things business. She’s always on the lookout for an interesting challenge.
She has a knack for identifying great synergies and building relationships. And of course, for getting into people’s inboxes.
She’s is a physicist with a PhD (really), an artist and a hurricane of a business woman.
Amar Daxini
Technical Architect
Sid and Amar have known each other for over 10 years and have built products together on several occasions.
Amar is the OG trainer and calls out BS before it festers. He's grown and mentored 100s of engineers while building systems at scale for OTT platforms and Edtech giants.
Anyone who has worked with Amar knows that whatever it is, he will get it done.
